GuestCaptures provides event photo and video collection, hosting, sharing, and access-control tools for organizers and guests. If you use GuestCaptures for a business, client, venue, couple, organization, or other third party, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that use.
Eligibility and accounts
You may use GuestCaptures only if you can legally agree to these terms. Organizers are responsible for keeping account credentials secure, for all activity under their accounts, and for promptly telling us about unauthorized access or billing concerns.
Organizer responsibilities
Organizers control event setup, gallery visibility, album permissions, access codes, download settings, moderation choices, and share links. Organizers are responsible for choosing settings appropriate for their event and for responding to guest privacy, download, correction, and deletion requests.
Guest and contributor uploads
Guests and contributors may upload only media they have the right to share and that belongs to the relevant event. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, sexually exploitative, non-consensual, private, misleading, spam, malware, or otherwise inappropriate content.
Media ownership and license
Organizers, guests, photographers, and other contributors keep whatever ownership rights they have in their photos, videos, captions, messages, and other content. You grant GuestCaptures a limited, worldwide license to host, store, process, resize, transcode, index, moderate, display, share, archive, back up, and deliver event content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
Privacy, consent, and face search
Organizers and contributors are responsible for having any permissions, notices, and consents required for collecting and sharing event media. Face search is intended to help guests find visually similar faces inside an event gallery they can access; it is not a public identity system and should not be used for surveillance, employment, credit, housing, law-enforcement, or other high-impact decisions.
Access and sharing
Public events may be viewable by anyone with the event link. Private or protected events require organizer-managed access codes. Anyone with a valid link or access code may be able to view, upload, download, or share content depending on organizer settings, so organizers should rotate or disable access if a code or link is exposed.
Plans, payment, renewals, and refunds
Paid event packages, add-ons, storage limits, video support, gallery windows, download capacity, archive renewals, recurring billing terms, and included features are shown before checkout. One-time event packages apply to the selected event only. Gallery Archive and other recurring purchases renew on the schedule shown at checkout unless canceled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, stated at checkout, or agreed by GuestCaptures support.
Limits and overages
Features may be limited, paused, unpublished, or unavailable when an event exceeds its plan limits, payment fails, a charge is disputed, abuse is detected, or these terms are violated. We may ask organizers to upgrade, renew, reduce storage, or contact support before additional uploads, downloads, or hosting continue.
Retention, export, and deletion
Event galleries are live for the plan window shown to the organizer. After that window ends, guest access may be unpublished while organizers can renew during the recovery period. Media becomes eligible for deletion after the recovery deadline unless hosting is continued or the organizer deletes it earlier. Organizers should keep their own backup copies of important media.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse GuestCaptures, interfere with the service, scrape galleries, bypass access controls, attempt to discover private codes, overload infrastructure, reverse engineer non-public systems, impersonate others, send spam, or use the service in a way that violates law, third-party rights, or event attendee safety.
Copyright and IP complaints
If you believe content on GuestCaptures infringes your copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights, contact support@guestcaptures.com with enough detail for us to locate the content and understand the claim. We may remove or restrict content, notify the organizer, or request more information before acting.
Third-party services
GuestCaptures relies on third-party infrastructure and services for hosting, payments, email, analytics, security, storage, AI processing, and related operations. Third-party outages, policy changes, API limits, payment processor actions, or network conditions may affect service availability or features.
Service changes and availability
We work to keep galleries available, but maintenance, updates, outages, abuse prevention, security incidents, legal requests, plan limits, or operational needs may affect access. We may add, change, or remove features, provided that we do not materially reduce paid access during an active plan window without a reasonable support path.
Suspension and removal
We may suspend accounts, restrict events, remove content, block downloads, disable uploads, or refuse service when necessary to protect guests, organizers, the public, legal rights, payment integrity, platform security, or GuestCaptures operations.
Disclaimers
GuestCaptures is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free processing, permanent storage, perfect moderation, complete search results, or that event content will meet a specific legal, business, archival, or professional requirement.
Liability limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuestCaptures will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, lost-profit, lost-data, lost-goodwill, or replacement-service damages. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amounts paid to GuestCaptures for the affected event or service during the three months before the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold GuestCaptures harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your event content, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, your violation of law, or your infringement or misuse of another person's rights.
Disputes and changes to these terms
Please contact support first so we can try to resolve concerns informally. We may update these terms as the service, law, or business changes. The updated date will show when the terms last changed, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
